Omg that's the most self-righteous piece I've read on here for a long, long time. Supporters are perfectly entitled to their opinion and if they think we won't win anything and dare to criticise Pep then their voices should be heard.
They count as much as Arsenals, Liverpools and Chelsea's do mate.
If you want to claim how much they have improved then its only fair.
We have had an excellent start to the season given we have a new manager who took over a demotivated squad.
Could it have been better and should it have been? yes of course it should but it is what it is and all in all we are doing more than alright imo.
I will wager not one manager of those you have named will think we haven't improved, not one!
Pointless wager as you don't know the private thoughts of any of those managers.
I think Pep is a great manager but the aura of early season has gone. Teams now believe they can get results against us and they are.
He needs to adapt and I'm sure he will but he ain't the messiah some think he is.

I disagree completely.
Amazing football first half, second half it got sloppy, sure the Barcelona game played a big part in that.
Really need to start taking our chances though, teams play us and seem to get one or two chances and score.
Also need to shoot more, especially when the teams are playing with 9 or 10 players behind the ball, when we seem to be trying to walk it in the opposition team feel comfortable they are keeping us at bay, when you shoot more they get nervous that sooner or later one will go in.
Seems some City fans are beginning to question Pep already, 11 premier league in, a new league, new players...ffs give the guy a chance.
It'll take time, a few transfer windows to get the players he needs all over the pitch to play and execute the way he wants.
He's a world class manager, but he's not a fucking miracle worker.
Now I've had a little rant...well played boro, you defended superbly today, you absolute c.... : )

At what point this season do you think you'll bullishly predict that we won't make top four? I'm guessing sometime in January.We are one point worse off than we were after 11 games last year.
I know its not always useful to compare season to season but we still have the same frailties we had under MP but like you I think we will iron them out as we improve our squad and get better at matching the strengths of opposition teams.
Conceding poor goals and lack of clinical finishing is fairly entrenched in this squad.

I know the bogey team thing makes no sense, but all my life I have seen us struggle against boro, I could list the heartache here, but serves no purpose, onwards and upwards, hope boro take points off the others :-(
