Against the dippers would anyone be against playing Walker and Mendy as fullbacks and putting Danilo in the midfield holding role ....Dinho looks a yard slower this season

Glad we got the result, was an ugly match, but we made our own luck especially at the end, seemed like we was stuck in 2nd gear at times but glad we got the 3pts, thought Mendy and Bernardo Silva played well, Mike Dean was on another planet with some of his decisions, anyhow well done guys............

Relative to last season: our corners are better, our defense looks more solid and composed (thank you Vinnie), our pressing is better (less so today), we are playing with much more confidence out of the back and our keeper looks stout. But our break look less fluid, our decision-making with the final ball has been poorer and we are overhitting direct passes so that the receiver is less able to get the ball under control with his first touch.

I think we got out of jail to be honest. We had a 25 minutes spell in the 1st half where we looked really good and Bournemouth looked like they were really struggling to cope with us. I thought the 2nd half would be more of the same but it wasn't.
They scored a wonder goal but had another chance (Defoe) to go 2 up before we got our equaliser and started to look dangerous.
Both sides hit the post.
Overall how the game panned out, A draw would have been a fair result in my opinion but had the ref done his job and sent Ake off, like the rules say, then you'd have thought it would have been a far more comfortable afternoon.
Thought sterling had a poor game but hopefully his two goals that have earned us 4 points will give him a boost in confidence because there's a top player in him.
There's a lot more to come from this team. Last season we started like a steam train, playing well and we all got giddy. I'm happy thinking that there's so much more to come from this squad and hopefully getting into full flow throughout the winter months.

He's terrible, which makes him near the best in the Prem.
