I think a team like us suits him. We attack and have the opportunity to play CL where only four teams in England can give him that. He definitely needs games and if a deal isn't done to keep him the onus would be to give game time to players who will be there next season.
I would love to keep him.

It was the same with us when Rangers were using EBTs and screwing the tax so that they could buy players we couldn't. They were just a better run club.

That didn't end well, but the point is it was never an issue.

They are getting by filling deficits with personal loans and suddenly we are all the ****s for not bankrupting ourselves and poor Rangers can't compete with us financially.

The hypocrisy would make you weep if you weren't pissing yourself laughing. No, the shoe is on the other foot now and suddenly it's not fair. Boo fucking hoo.

I'm filling up here as I'm sure you do when the shame of it hits home about your new circumstances.

Still, at least they get to play the plucky underdog now.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, not got time to read through but my mate reckons the club have told him that all tickets will be checked around the perimeter of the Etihad, before reaching the turnstiles, not seen this anywhere else but if its true, the queues will be like the retreat from Stalingrad prior to kick off. Be worth making sure we all allocate a few extras minutes to get in... Anyone else heard this..??

Looking at Twittter it seems by 1pm Manchester will be green and white. Some are tweetign they are already pissed at 9am . Should be a good atmosphere even if a dead rubber of a game. Looking forward to this game.

Is Delph available? And if he is, after so long out isn't it too big a risk to start him? Doesn't he need 30 mins from the bench first?
