The grass seemed to have been left a little long....did anyone else think so?

It does make carrying the ball difficult and was maybe why Hazard struggled....but if it was left slightly longer was it done more likely with Barca in mind, it will be interesting to see if it is back to its bowling green best Tuesday or not

Short players like Xavi, Messi etc will be knee deep in grass on Tuesday..

Given that Etihad runs a kind of hybrid supportergroup with 18k members from UAE I´m sure there´s a bundle of them attending now and then..

Garcia fucking quality looks like he's added 5mph.

he'll never be 5mph quicker, but in his head he was. this is where the player inside will come out, once fully to grips will the pace of the prem he'll be a great member of our squad. he's getting there as he's done really well for some time now. he's certainly not the mug most on here think he is.

See mourinho at least said we were the best team and deserved to win. Still had to throw in the comment about the ref and the refs team being poor in the 2nd half and our 2nd goal was offside but no mention of Lescotts goal being dissallowed for offside which looked onside to me. Though he did say that the 2nd goal would have made no difference as we would have won one nil anyhow.

Glad we won and shut him up for abit. It was pretty petty by the media comparing the record between both managers with one being at Malaga and one at Madrid. It be like someone comparing manager records head to head between us and someone like West Ham.

Lescott was well offside.
