Just missed an interview with mancini, apparantely he slagged hart off for giving away the penalty? Pretty harsh if so.

Only read last couple of pages... Kolo MOTM surely. Sky gave it yaya, match sponsor Jimmy, but defo kolo, and nasty played well as well. Well played lads, big win that

Had to be Kolo....

Do you reckon? Not for me. Played very well, but badly caught out on the pen, and that alone could have cost us.

As I said, he played very well - probably as well as I can remember him playing for us. But others were better for me.

I'll start. Huge 3 points. Good strong performance. Closer to our best than we've been for a while.

Sergio will never miss that many chances in a match again.

Nasri stifling a yawn as he came on. Tosser.

Rodwell. Showed those who don't rate him that he's good enough to be in our squad.
vital win today, forget united the pack behind were closing in to quick, must win game and we delivered forza mancini

Really good performance today. I'm really happy and I hope we play like that in the games to come.

EMPHATIC AS YOU LIKE

Obviously, the penalty was a crucial moment in the game but as a whole, city dominated the match and the somewhat misily scoreline was due to us not taking our chances in the game. The team played with energy, determination and undersatnding of the tactics and what the manager wanted from them.

Kolo Toure was man of the match- he read everything and was absolutely no nonsense and dominant. I was also impressed with nastatsic .
Yaya toure is an attacking midfielder - com- supporting striker, we all know that, right?

So can we muster enough audacity to hope? well i dont know but the fans and the players can take a lot of encouragement and happiness from this game.

Big positive: Jack Rodwell.
Negetive: Chance conversion rate( not criticism, just an account of what happened in this game).

You have a point about the conversion rate ....

BBC stats show both sides enjoyed 50% possession each ..... but City edged the shot count 11-1 !

A problem that has lingered all season but today is a good day and congratulations to every player.
I should also give another special mention Garcia- for the past few games, i think he has been one of our better players for the role he plays in the team. Big ups to him.

Very good today.

Thought Chelsea were very strangely subdued and looked really tired.

Rodwell was immense. The rest were very good.

Special big up to Joe for keepin us in the game. Very rare to see a Lampard pen saved.

Should finish a comfy 2nd now.
