City v Chelsea Post Match Thread

Chelsea deserved it. Outplayed, out thought and outfought us. So so disappointed it unbelievable.

Only using 1 sub? We needed a goal! We might as well have thrown Milner on or something. However, pelegrini has been good this season so let's not get too carried away with ourselves...

Positives - still second only 2 points off top.
Jovetic looked good when he came on.
There's still plenty to play for, we really need to show our character now though.
 
Utterly bizarre tactics not making further substitutions. Why on earth didn't he bring Milner and or Rodwell on and push Yaya forward, which ALWAYS works when we need him to do something magic.

We were so desperately short of quality and clearly it wasn't working and yet Pellegrini did nothing. I am fuming and cannot understand it.
 
REALITY CHECK. Disappointing but the home record had to go sometime. Shame it was to Chelsea though. Seems the luck was with them and every loose ball went to them. Demichelis not the answer. Don't know why he stayed on. Can't understand why Milner wasn't used.
 
At some point that was always going to happen. We have an intense run of fixtures with some key players out. I have said all season I fancy Chelsea to win the league and I haven't changed my mind. They deserved the win tonight with their strength and tactics. Hazard was absolutely sensational. He was unplayable tonight and we never got near him. The positives for me are that we still created chances and were never out of the game. We are still ahead of Chelsea despite losing six points to them and still in with a huge chance of winning the title. Jovetic played well when he came on and could well be in the starting line up in the next game. We need to brush ourselves off and come back stronger because the final run in is going to be incredibly tough but I believe we can do it. CTID!
 
It's a reality check for us and the players, and hopefully we have the heart to fight back, and I think we do, but this means no more losses this season.
