ALLEGEDLY abusive CSKA Moscow fans flying from Russia to England for a Champions League clash with Manchester City have reportedly forced a plane to make an emergency landing in Denmark.
Russia's Sport Express daily reported that half a dozen CSKA fans were arrested by Danish police after the plane made an emergency landing at Copenhagen airport.
The plane later continued to Manchester but the flight attendants ordered the CSKA fans to remain in their seats at all times, the report added.
It said three fans had been released but another three were still in Danish custody.
If confirmed, the incident would be the latest scandal involving CSKA fans after they racially abused Yaya Toure when the team hosted Manchester City in Moscow for the home leg.
UEFA has ruled CSKA must play their next home Champions League match in a partly closed stadium as punishment.
The report did not identify the airline involved but the only company offering direct flights from Moscow to Manchester is EasyJet.
Data on its website showed that Sunday's flight from Moscow EZY 1872 was "diverted to Copenhagen" and arrived in Manchester with a two-hour delay, although no reason was given.

If we lose 1-0, we have to equal CSKA's results against Plsen and Munich and it's then down to goal difference.
If we lose 2-1 or worse we have to better their results, which will probably mean needing something in Munich. Worse case scenario, if Munich then throw the game in Moscow, we are probably out.

We aren't in the business of throwing games, but I would imagine we would rest a few players in Moscow given that we will have had our strongest eleven out four days earlier in Dortmund.
If City win tonight and I'm sure that they will, a point v Pilsen will send us through.

if we lose 1-0 were still ahead on away goals on head to head, just as if it.were a 2 legged tie.
sorry for nitpicking.
we beat cska tonight, plzen get battered by both us and bayern and they get cocky and rest some players on the final match day, we win 3-0 and top the group.
I think that's more likely than us failing to progress at this poiny, I really do.
