Moyes really seems to have Mancini's number. Disappointing point in an uninspiring display.

Moyes really does have Mancini's number. The buildup play was too slow for an organised Everton team, that knew what to expect from us, having faced the same thing for some time now. Far too predictable. Not a fatal result though, but we need to improve for the derby.

We thumped them in this fixture last year, and the two scorers were both subs.

But don't let reality get in the way of a good spanking.

Mancini vs Moyes

Won 1
Drawn 1
Lost 5

But don't let reality get in the way of a good delusion.

Damocles- what a pathetic post to make.

They are right, we rarely ever do well against Everton. And last year we 'thumped' them- what game were you watching.

A goal in the 90th minute which came from a gift due to a shocking pass from drench to make it 2-0. otherwise it would have been 1-0 from a deflected shot...

Why be unnecessarily sarcastic. In truth we weren't too bad in the second half, but as usual our slow build up play is letting down, and we aren't making keepers work enough. Taking Tevez off was a bizarre decision. We have scraped through games this season, which is good, and says a lot about our character, but we need to start properly performing now, as we are half way into the season.

Oh, but Damocles, don't let reality get in the way of an opportunity for sarcasm.

Got 3 points against them last season. Just need a win at their shithole and all is good.

We may have a better chance of doing that if the come at us a bit more.

They set up in the second half to blunt our last pass which was off the boil for most of the game and it worked for them.

At their patch they may take the game to us a bit more which might expose them a bit.

No game is easy in the premier league , just ask Arsenal and Chelsea fans.

Just about any side can get something from the top few clubs on any given day if they are not at their best and we were not clinical enough today.

I would have taken 33 points from the first 45 available and I will certainly take 33 from the next 45.

Reading just scored!

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

it was finished in my eyes when Tevez came off! I was one who booed the substitution and rightly so. i dont think Aguero touched the ball

Please stop this talking sense nonsense, post after post ;)

We are the Champions and we are top of the league , we are not at our best of last year just yet but it will come :)

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

I might be wrong, but haven't we won EVERY game Tevez and Aguero have started. Whether or not it's them that have won it for us, that stat must count for something. Neither player are impact subs, they start and wear down defenders.

Why aren't we starting with a pairing that is proven to be a winning formula- makes no sense.
