City v Everton post match

Very surprised with Koemans tactics they showed no ambition reminded me of the times when the Gargoyle came to the Etihad with his team of yard dogs and his swag bag and mask , decent performance and very surprised Nacho didnt step up for the first penalty , but both were very poor penalties at the right height for the keeper . Slightly worrying when we batter teams and do not create that many clear cut chances , unfortunately teams like the blue dippers will always put ten man behind the ball , Sane had a good first half hour but faded Sterling played in patches and KDB looked a little off the pace after his lay off , Merlin completely controlled the game.Quite sure Pep had one eye on the Barca game its a tough call prioritising games the quadruple is gonna be a bit harder than i thought :)

Thought we played well today, looked comfortable with 3 at the back plus VK got some minutes, let's hope it lasts. Their keeper had a great game, shit happens.

I think Sergio's pen was worse then De Bruyne's myself. Both times the keeper did not guess, he waited to see which way it was going and then tried to save it...Sergio seemed to watch the keeper hoping he would dive and then slot it the other way...I think if he'd just choose his side before taking and gone for it the keeper would have struggled anywhere near the corner

Hard to fathom the result and the performance was good but lacked that killer ball which kept Everton in the game on the scoresheet.

2 missed penalties and 2 points thrown away unfortunately.

Not much between the top five sides currently and it might stay that way for the remainder of the season.

Certainly a work in progress as they say.

Lack of chances created a concern. Still struggle to break teams down that park the bus. Two big points dropped today, some will sugarcoat it but it was poor enough.
I was much more worried about this. The missed penalties are an abberation. The lack of chances is more of a problem. Until Nolito came on no one but DeBryune was moving dangerously.

East sat on the sofa but a penalty has to be kept either low or hit high into the corner. Both today where at that perfect height where if a keeper guesses the right way he saves it and for that reason, they are poorly taken rather than great saves by the keeper.

Kev and Kun are both better than what they gave us today from the spot and they both know it but shit happens, they are human.
