Kompany and Otamendi both played 90 mins last night and will no doubt again on Sunday, at least it gives them 5 days recovery before the Pool game, though why Vinnie had to play the whole match against Gibraltar is baffling

Think Klopp will outsmart Pep this time round. Its just too soon to play such a well drilled and motivated team. Don't play Sterling and we may have a better chance of getting something out of the game.

That's one decision that Pep doesn't have to make thanks to Mike Dean.

Call me crazy but I would like to see Mangala start this game. Has the pace needed to deal with the counter. Their front 3 will rip Otamendi apart.

It would also give him a major confidence boost which is important given he's going to play an important role this season for us.

Agree with this line-up. We need to have our full-backs further back, as Mane, Salah and Firmino run into the channels a lot, and with Mendy and Walker in a 3-5-2 they'll be too far forward to cope properly with this threat.

Benching Aguero a second game in a row seems harsh, but he would have got even less game time had Sanchez come in (a main reason I'm not that disappointed by yesterday)
