Rogers is class. Talks about how they can improve from corners, didn't blame the refs or claim bad luck like Whinger. Plays aggressive, attractive football while remaining solid at the back.
They deserve the top 4.

Great result. If we'd been at An field the bald midget would have given a own to them.

Liverpool looked really good,and imo deserved something from the game,glad we won, even though a few of our players weren't firing ,all worked hard so that's a bonus.as for lescott,i trumped everytime he got the ball,not the right man to play against a very fluid Liverpool side.
I can definitely see Liverpool in the top 3/4 and if they play like that every week could see them pushing us very close for the title.
I think we showed a different side today,its all well and good playing teams off the pitch and scoring for fun,but games like tonights shows me we have the bottle as well.

They're iffy at the back, but on the ball they pass and move well and really cause problems to the oppositions defence. Pretty even game overall. Both teams should have scored more than they did. Important win!
Fernandinho again had a good game. Kompany gave Suarez very little hence why he went looking for Lescott. We need another CB because against technically good players he's all over the show. He also stunts out attacking play.
in fact, the right side of our defense is quality, the best in the league, but the left side is bang average and both their goal and the Sterling non-offide highlighted that tonight. I'd keep Kolarov but not as a LB. What was he doing trying to dribble roud Suarez in his own 6 yard box, esp. when Hart was on the floor? Absolutely criminal from Mr. Casual.
Fantastic "title-winning" save by Hart. Hope he keeps his head (n shoulders) and continues in this kind of form.
Suarez is obviously a quality player but against a good defender he soon starts chucking himself about and screaming in 'pain'. As good as Messi and Ronaldo? Get fucking real!
