You were not watching hard enough if you didn't think they played well. They were very good and whether they deserved a point is debatable but they were easily the best side we have faced at home, much better than Arsenal and the rags were shit compared to them.
I didn't say they were poor - our tactics allowed them to play with acres of space through the middle which would obviously make it appear that they were creating. The truth is they weren't good enough to beat us and the best team on the day won.
I watched it pretty hard thanks

We did create chances. We didn't just appear to create, we did create. Both sides did, it was an excellent game.

Hard to stomach performances like that when coming away with zero points but that's how it goes I suppose. Both sides came out to play football and both sides played well.

Huge contrast to that shitefest offered up at the Emirates the other night. Not an unfair result for us as such but I still feel we were a little unlucky.
You did have a couple of chances mate I agree, the point I was making was it was our midfielders allowing you the room to create them. It was an excellent game and Liverpool stood up to be counted.
I can't accept that a draw would have been a fair result though, and I certainly can't accept that you were the better team over 90 minutes.
Your last sentence is a fair one. It wasn't an unfair result but from your point of view I could see how you'd feel unlucky.

far from deluded...pretty mild tbf

They always show their true colours eventually

No way on this good earth are you a City fan, especially if you agree with what a cult like forum RAWK says
lol so i think we were lucky to get a win and suddenly after 35 years im not a city fan?

Begbie, sorry but we were not lucky. We played a huge game of football against hands down the best side that's been here, and we were marginally better. That's it. That's all that needs to be recognized.

Rodgers said City had played 4-4-2 in every other game this season but weren't today,
however silva didn't play deep enough to help out in midfield so it was like 4-4-2 as usual,
far too easy for pool to pick out the runners with the diagonal passes an extra man in midfield would of been a good idea, citys midfield only looks forwards and never get side on to track runners or see whats happening behind them

Silva played a bit deeper I think today than some of the other games were he has partnered the recognised striker but he was not part of a five man midfield. He his a more flexible player in that role than one of our recognised strikers but some people seem to be confused about our formation.

I thought we did enough. Sometimes, tactics are irrelevant, Liverpool have had a decent few years at our gaff in terms of performance, they make it difficult, but I think that tells the story. They are toothless, I remember two years ago around the same time of year we beat them 3 nil, technically they were decent and some would suggest that they deserved something, but they left with nothing. Have a look at the stats from today, we were the better team. Liverpool will not stay in this race, they drop too many points in the big games and have done so far this season. We are a big game team and have delivered again. Had they scored a 2nd today I think we would have scored a third. I had that feeling throughout the game. We never left 2nd gear. They had some decent interplay and you have to give them credit for that, but they didn't have enough in their locker to beat us. It has been a similar story over the last 4 years for them.

We are kicking in now. If we are top in new year I think it will be a case of catch us if you can.

Like against Arsenal, if Kun had been fit we would have played 2 up top. Brentan knows that, he's just trying to big himself and his team up.

That was one hell of a ride.... Yes we kept suarez quite but the goal scoring threat did not come from him it shows they are just not a 1 man team... they are dead cert for top 4 imo... Merlin, zab, and neg where outstanding today but motm was joe... IMHO it should have been a draw.. but who cares 3 points is 3 points
