The fact that all of these pundits were far more concerned by Mane's sending off than Edersons well-being says it all really.
The red card shouldn't even be up for debate. It's one of the most blatant red cards in PL history.
Whilst the rule book clearly explains why it was a red card, I'd also like to point out the whole hypocracy of the media in regards to these sorts of challenges.
Rewind to the first game of the season when Chelsea played Burnley. Cahill overstretched for a ball, that was there to be won, but the Burnley player nipped in first and got caught high on the leg.
Every single fucking pundit agreed that it wasn't malicious, it was an accident, but still a sending off. There were no sky sports polls about how harsh it was, or no outcry from Gary Neville about how Cahill's eyes were on the ball and he didn't mean it. It was about how the ref got the decision right but Cahill was unlucky.
I actually don't blame the Dippers for believing they've been robbed. They live in a 1940 Germanyesque society of propaganda where their club can do no wrong and they lap it up.
Also, for all the talk of the magical Anfield atmosphere and the passionate LFC fans just have a look at the away end come the 80th minute yesterday. 5/6ths of those vermin had already fucked off back to Wales, Norway or whatever other shithole they stem from.
Horrible fans, horrible club who even make United fans seem decent.
