Pep said he's not playing Laporte in these US friendlies because he needs him to be fit for the start of the season. That suggests he's expecting to be light on centre backs for the Arsenal game.Why?

That tweet is trying to create drama where there is none. You could quite easily pull a photo montage like that together of Pep in a first team 5-0 victory.
I would imagine you could do the same as he watched his wife cook tea.
