If we beat Pool tonight there is a huge chance it will be City-MU in the final.
We would be nearly sure to top the group (unless a loss to Olympiakos in last round) while they also seems like finish top.

Btw a win is 3 points, loss is 0 p., if its a draw it goes to pens instantly, if you win it then its 2 points, if you lose on pens its still 1 point.

When/where will this be?
Be good to shut the fuckers up before the season begins!!

Miami - August 4

Sorry, OS says 19:00 kick off BST.

No it doesn't it says 19:00 EST

Its midnight on Sky sports GMT

Ees almost correct. 7pm local New York time, being pedantic (it's what I do) DST, not EST, being Daylight Savings Time. It's correct to say EST is GMT plus 5 hours but also true that UK is not on GMT right now (telled yer I were a pedant)

So........what time is it on ?

I'd rather we keep our powder dry until it matters. Let them ride their crest of optimism and win their opening 'gimmes'

United have 'won' twice but could still miss out on the final if Real Madrid beat them, because United's penalty shootout win over Inter was only worth 2pts. So if they lose to Real and Inter or Roma beat each other in normal time, I believe the Italian team would go through.

tbh I'm not keen on a derby in pre-season. They have more of their starters ready and fit and the idea of losing to them in ANY game, friendly or not, revolts me. A City/Roma final would do me. :)

Or if City don't make it, Liverpool/United would be fun... plenty of pre-season blood and two footed tackles. :)

The idea of them wearing each other out before the season starts is preferable to a derby match that the Rags are more ready for than we are. The idea of losing to them in a friendly game of tiddlywinks revolts me neither mind a "friendly" game of football.

Also we will be more tired for Wembley game that is just 4-5 days after this friendly final. Arsenal doesnt have another game in the previous week to that match in Wembley. And they already are back in Europe, so for us to play here on the 4th or 5th than travel back to Europe thats a long journey to MAnchester and than to London.

I am not sure its ideal and I dont think if we would fail to win this group we would create another friendly between the Olympiakos and Arsenal game.

If we were playing United I'd rather beat them in a friendly than Arsenal

There's very little to gain from playing the scum in the final. Win and the press will hardly mention it and jst say it's all pre-season nonsense, lose and Van Gaal is the new Messiah, if he isn't already. We'd have no end of it.

And then there's the risk of injuries. If they make the final, I hope we don't. Seems ridiculous saying that, but there you go.

I will be at the fan pack area (they sent me the wrong Scarves...so I need to swap them) around 5:15 or so.
