Trouble with so called pre Season Tournaments your heart wants you to play the best and beat the opposition however your head should be saying this is all about getting players match fit for when it matters. I ain't fucking stopping up till midnite to watch this I will rely on highlights on OS tomorrow evening to see how we did.

Result doesn't matter, just hope we carry on with the players that have been playing so far with the gentle introduction of maybe Hart, Milner, Dzeko etc for 10 mins or so. Rather the dippers have a belated open top bus ride in this comp and us take the three points off them in a couple of weeks time.

As for playing the rags, don't care one bit I can see the advantage of finishing the tour this week and getting them all home where the real training can prepare them in our own backyard.

I am old time, I still want us to get 40 points to be sure of escaping relegation, and I have to say not really switched onto this increasing the fan base and revenue. How things have changed, just hope if we do go guns blazing it isn't to the detriment of the long season ahead by rushing back our top players too soon. So I do agree with you but disagree if you see what I mean.

new breed of football club with new aims. if we want to be a top dog, we have to run with the pack - unfortunately. but id rather we are running with this bunch of mongrels that being the runt.

the owners and money men will be very interested in winning this tournament, especially at either the rags, or the current chumps champs expense. sends out all the right signals. there is so much more at stake here than people realize.

Me too, I disagree and agree,I don't want any injuries to our top players of course,but by god I have been a blue since 1967-68 season and even as a small boy I wanted us to smash the fuckers in every way in every game,even if it was the Watney cup ! And I can't even remember if we were in the fucking thing ! I hate that filth so much I can taste it.............but no injuries plesase :)
