Im looking like this,

Napoli came third in Seria A last year on 70 points, Udinese came 4th on 66 and you could say Inter came second on 76 who we beat their full team in pre season quite comfortbaly.. Yes Udiense lost key players etc etc but they got beat over 2 legs by a weak Arsenal side a few weak back, an Arsenal side that would be taken for a ride by Championship team at the current moment..

Napoli's first game this season was a 3-1 against a team that came 15th last year as well ..

Play the team we did againts Tottenham and go offensive like we have done over the past few week i think we could have these especially at home.. Mancini will want to try and get big results at home so we can afford to draw away to keep the players fit (not that i am trying to make it out to be easy).. Cannot afford 1-0 wins at home because most of the time you will just pay the price for it away..

Look at Tottenham last season they practically demolished the top 2 teams Inter and AC.
this. very sensible analysis.

-- Tue Sep 13, 2011 2:35 am --

in this group I would take a 1-0 win.

Watching CL preview programmes here in Spain and it´s fookin exciting to think after all we´ve gone through in the last 15 years we´re there and being talked about. Watching Sat highlights had me mesmerised - sometimes I really have to pinch myself. Long may it continue ;)

Re: starting to buzz about wednesday already

this season is the first time I've been constantly excited about the next game and can't wait for it.

I m sure skpd will record it in HD, as many others will do too.

A bit worried about this game. We have to win it, simple as. So on that basis a scrappy 1-0 would do. We are in the toughest group and probably need to win all our home games.

The only slight concern I ever had about Bobby's appointment was his record in European competition at Inter. They were obviously a very good side but he couldn't translate it to the CL. He has the opportunity at City to disprove the detractors he no doubt still has in Italy over his previous failures in Europe.

I hope he's learned and I reckon he has.

Looking forward to this!
