Much easier starting XI to pick than midweek

Hart
Zabaleta (Sagna if Zaba is not fit to start)
Otamendi
Mangala (Demichelis if Mangala is not fit to start)
Kolarov
Fernando
Fernandinho
Sterling
Silva
De Bruyne
Aguero

Hoping for a big score to send us off to the international break - perfect time to recover some of the injured players

after hearing the injury news ill pick my team

Hart

Sagna
Mangala
Otamendi
Kolarov

Dinho
Nando

KDB
Silva
Sterling

Aguero

Recovery for those not on international duty indeed but fingers crossed for the likes of David, Serge and Kevin that they don't get crocked!

I think Zabaleta will start in this one as this will be Sagna's 7th game in three weeks if he plays.

I think if we are to remain with a high line Mangala has to start, we need his pace.

So difficult to predict - we're missing loads of chances it's true but I can't even say a fast start & couple of early goals will ensure we win - I'm forced to revert back to my old tried and tested method....I really hope win beat 'em - c'mon City.

We have to be wary of facing a Steve McClaren side as they always seem get a result despite us dominating (a couple of league games against Middlesbrough are still fresh in my mind).

Think Pellegrini will go with

-------------Hart

Zab Demi Otamendi Kolarov

---Fernando Fernandinho

KDB -------Silva------ Sterling

------------Aguero

Regardless of who we put out on the pitch, we're going to struggle if we continue in the same style as we have over the last few games. Some intensity, an actual plan going forward and something resembling an organised back 4 wouldn't go amiss.

Chelsea play a right footed LB. Until we have a world class one, why can't we play Sagna or Zabaleta there in the big games. Maybe not tomorrow but got to be worth a go.

not sure if he's ever played there, but would feel more comfortable with sagna left and zaba right, although it would limit our attacking options
