City V Norwich Post Match Discussion Thread

The pressing in the first half was brilliant, we're getting steadily better at this and not many teams in the league will be able to handle it if we keep playing like that. Toure really benifited from the rest he got midweek and ran the show today. Only bad point is the goal conceded, we had been looking lazy defensively for the few minutes before that and you could see it coming

Dont think they are miserable, just quietly satisfied with a job well done.

We`re not the arrogant rags you know
Having lived amongst arrogant rags for the last 47 years I think I know the difference.

AJ looked pretty chuffed , at least it looked like a love bite so I guess he scored on and off this week.

5-1 Cracking result!

A no nonsense performance from a hard-working team of professionals. Well done lads keep it up.

A few people are criticising the goal we conceded today. Not me. Mancini always say's after every game "we need to improve". If we win games 5-0, 6-0 and 7-0 how do you improve on that?

These lack of clean sheets will give us a focus point for the second half of the season and help to keep us grounded and maintain our form.

Happy days!
the result is one thing, but how you got to the result is entirely different topic. there have been few glitches in the defense, and some of the goals scored were a matter of chance. this game was against a team that didn't turn those glitches into goals, and allowed those chances to work for city. you can't expect city to win matches by scoring over 3 goals every game in order to nullify conceded goals.
"Defense"? Stick to American football pal.

Feel like a worldbeater now? Clown.

A great all round performance. We were very patient and our passing was a joy to watch. The last couple of games we have given the ball away far to often but today we did very well to maintain possession. A few mentions, I thought Barry, Nasri,Yaya, Silva and Aguero were great today. Only worry was when Kolo go anywhere near the ball lucky for us Vinny was alert and back to his best.
BUT.....
The most pleasing aspect today was our pressure game when we didn't have the ball. We didn't let Norwich have the ball for long in that first half. If we keep that aspect of the game we are not going to lose many games.

I've been in the US a few years now, but isn't it spelled 'defense' in England as well? Or is the suggestion that there's no such thing as a defense in soccer?

If you are a proper Mancunian you need to spell it defence. Because they apparently have no fucking clue what defense is.

Some people need to get the fuck over themselves.
