City v PL | Legal Dispute/Appeal

The Academy stuff was FIFA related and was sorted with a (relatively) small fine, the FA were also fined because they advised that we were proceeding correctly (along with Chelsea who got a fine and transfer ban for their sheer scale of transgressions).

The Sancho case was dismissed and there was a lad from South America who we were getting threatened with civil court about but that was nonsense and went away.

Surely the Ghanian lads would be UEFA or FIFA?

Perhaps it's fallout from that FIFA verdict then.

At least with this one we can’t be banned from champions league for 2 years. That would have left us in financial trouble and probably would have lost a few key players. Worst case scenario is I guess they dock us points but more likely prob a transfer ban or something similar.

Don’t they usually make a big deal of announcing a punishment and then you get to appeal to them and later the courts if there’s not a satisfactory outcome? Can’t recall a case in football where it was being reviewed at an appeal court before the original verdict was even announced/known.
I think the CoA permission suggests no decision in the disciplinary process has been reached. But I am speculating.
