City v PL | Legal Dispute/Appeal

I thought FFP was a UEFA nonsense. How can the Premier League investigate it?
Highly doubt it's FFP related, Prem would have already found something and made it known if it was. Prem rules for FFP are also very relaxed in comparison to UEFA, and we have never been in danger of being sanctioned by them in any cause.

This could yet be related to youth signings imo.

Anything serious and this would have been all over the press well before the arbitration hearing, the fact we are only hearing about it now after arbitration suggests its fairly small in the grand scheme of things.

the @slbsn tweets are mine. That’s the best I can do at the moment. But pure speculation ...1) the disciplinary proceedings appear not yet concluded/decided - is this some kind of CAS 1 attempt to interrupt the process? 2) it seems unlikely to me to be trivial - making allegations of structural bias and going as far as the court of appeal seem quite meaningful

BUT

if City and PL were in arbitration for something FFP/serious surely it would have leaked from one of our other 19 friends at the PL.

My understanding is that clubs are always involved in running legal battles. I think it may be an overreaction just because this one has been made public

FFP, super league, sponsors, sterling's mum's house, Phil fodens mum's house, booing a player, booing the champions league anthem, fined for being late(though we wasnt), sportswashing, financial doping,.....
Is there anything I've missed which the cunts in the media want to highlight?

At the beginning of last year i remember the Prem League saying they would only proceed with their own FFP investigation following the UEFA ban / CAS appeal.

City were exonerated which wouldn't give the Premier league much encouragement?

I had no idea that was you...

Now I’m worried!

Yeah my mate has become an FFP and sports law expert due to our CAS case and he said that it's pretty much impossible to break PL law without breaking the UEFA law with regards to FFP. The only way it's related to FFP and PL have a legitimate case is if the time barred allegations in the CAS case are admissible in this one.

No, clubs don’t regular go to the Court of Appeal over PL internal disputes. It’s definitely unusual. I’m not saying we should panic. But personally, I don’t like the look of it.
