City V PSG ticket Prices: 1894 Group statement in full

I don't think they do but would you agree that someone with 2 16-21 lads who don't work and pays for all three of them, should have to pay £145 to sit on the back row on the upper tier in ES?

Should he also then have to pay a fee just to be able to buy tickets?

Not in the slightest. There should be a much more flexible pricing structure. Upto 16, 17-21, Unwaged, etc, and if there are any 'freebies', which there undoubtedly are, and going to non-City fans, it is City fans who should be getting them.

i wouldn't walk out against West Brom - just spend ten minutes not facing the pitch. Why miss out on half an hours footy?

Because it's for the long term good of the club? The good of the core support?

What's half an hour in the grand scheme of things if it means you prevent yourself and your mates being priced out two years down the line?

It needs something that glaring to embarrass wankers like Soriano into altering their plans for us. We've been treated with contempt for too long, only a real tangible protest will alter the course we're on.

There are alternative protests we could all take part in, but I don't think the club would take any notice of what you suggested, or it would even gain any real traction among supporters, just seems a bit daft turning your back on the pitch.

There needs to be a real tangible sense of what the club would lose if the core support are alienated and bow out. Those empty seats that would come with a protest would send the shits right up Soriano and Glick. For all we know Sheikh Mansour might think everything's rosy and that those two bean counters he's employed are doing right by the supporters. That kind of protest might reach the right people well above those two bean counters and get us the kind of change we all want.

We'll never know unless we do something. We have nothing to lose.

This is the time to strike, while the iron is hot. This topic is something all supporters across the country are currently talking about, all empathise with.

Now is the time to take action.

If we don't, I believe we'll come back to look at this period with a deep sense of regret.

It won't work because people don't want to miss 30 minutes of a game. A few might leave but most won't. Every single person turning their backs would have just a dramatic effect and in fact would get more publicity.

Could hold up a "yellow card" A4 paper / card. Good visual impact, cheap, can still watch the match, associated with a warning.

I disagree, if it was communicated well people would be willing to do it. It needn't be with a whole half hour remaining, but that would send out the biggest message.

I just don't see people turning their backs en masse for any real period of time, or not turning around when there was a chance during the game, or it having the real visual impact that people leaving would while holding banners.

Liverpool fans protest at Anfield reached a national audience, it had that great an impact, and it made a tangible difference. It directly contributed to the £30 away cap being introduced.

We can't half arse this if we do it, it'll have to be all or nothing.

It won't happen mate. Not everyone is as passionate about it as you. 95 percent of city fans will have no idea it is planned.

id say the same about liverpool fans though. yet load protested and did something about it. i dont think its over the top either, you can see what city fans think about this - so much anger on here, twitter and Facebook. I think there comes a point where you can't just accept it.

You'd be surprised. As I said all the regulars I spoke to about it around me in 106 were behind it.

If it was well communicated it would absolutely take off, if people understood why it was being done, what the goal was. Absolutely it would take off.

And it could completely change the direction of where we're headed as a club, it holds that great a potential.

Don't underestimate the influence we can wield if we all come together. No-one among the aforementioned bean counters in the boardroom is looking out for our interests, so it's up to us to do so.

with the best will in the world the decision makers have no concept of paying 50 quid for a ticket out of a gross wage of 250-500 quid, while trying to pay a mortgage etc, and furthermore they dont care. We pay category a prices everywhere, for a product this season that has been piss poor, but instead of recognising it, they are going for one last pay day v PSG. I love Vinny, but how can someone who earns probably 8 million gross a year then pontificate about ticket prices. I genuinely thought we as a club would break the mould, be the 1st English club to follow the German model, instead our decision makers decide to act like we have a revolving fan base, when in truth its the same poor buggers paying through the nose every week. The fare served up this year has been total crap, the club should have refunded everyone who went to Chelsea in the cup, and that v kiev the other night was absolute turgid expensive shite. Instead of treating one of the loyalist fan bases in the world with utter contempt, it's time they got their act together, because Guardiola or no Guardiola i can see a lot of long standing blues turning their backs on it.
