City V PSG ticket Prices: 1894 Group statement in full

Difficult one for people, I don't really want to miss 30 ,mins of match whoever it is.
But would like to do something to make my feelings known.
How about a boycott of all the facilities, food and drink, inside and outside the ground.
If the Summerbee bar was deserted for Stoke and WBA it might make them think.

Great statement but we need some sort of practical action, even if that's singing "60 quid - you're having a laugh" or "You can stick your £60 up your arse" for a few minutes during the West Brom game. The Dortmund tennis balls one would be brilliant as the match kicked off but of course throwing things onto the pitch is a criminal offence in this country so probably not a good idea.

What about if all the mods on here streak?

Fuck the "Value of the Champions league product"

The disrespect UEFA give us both in that competition and anything we need to do to grow.

An empty QF stadium with the reasoning behind it would be supported by other true fans of European clubs.

Not in the slightest. There should be a much more flexible pricing structure. Upto 16, 17-21, Unwaged, etc, and if there are any 'freebies', which there undoubtedly are, and going to non-City fans, it is City fans who should be getting them.

Exactly. I had 4 lads walking into the ground against Kiev basically taking the piss of everything City. They were aged 19 ish. I can only imagine they were given the tickets because they didn't have a good word to say.

I'm not averse to paying £40 for a ticket for a game like this and possibly some parts of the ground £50 wouldn't be unreasonable but the prices for 16-21 are scandalous and top rows of upper tiers in ES and CB stands do not merit £55.

Taking the money out 3 weeks before the game is another piss take.

They don't think enough when they set prices for individual games.

How about a charity thing?

Get blues to give to a local cause what they'd pay for a CL to a community project.

£60 is a day's wage if you're a minimum wage earner. The people who make up these prices earn that in an hour or so. Therein lies the difference.

The club statement says it all for me. I genuinely feel like niot going again. We are just a cash cow not loyal supporters. As for a protest the answer to that is do not buy the tickets. I cancelled my scheme on line on Saturday for my son and me and it feels good. Will I miss being there? Possibly. Will I get used to it? Well the evidence from everyone else who have reached tipping point before me suggests I will.

It's a shame but City are not my life. They are a part of it and if they can afford to lose fans like me then good luck to them.

charlton fans threw balls on the pitch the other week in their protest, as have blackpool fans. they can't arrest or stop 10,000 people doing it. would be a great way to protest thats for sure

The only thing that will make them think is if people do not buy tickets for the PSG game. If people do not rejoin that cup scheme and if people drop Platinum which is a complete joke anyway.

Hitting the club in the pocket is the only message they will understand!

If it sells out then I think that's it for the future. People will be priced out of these games forever.
