City V PSG ticket Prices: 1894 Group statement in full

id say the same about liverpool fans though. yet load protested and did something about it. i dont think its over the top either, you can see what city fans think about this - so much anger on here, twitter and Facebook. I think there comes a point where you can't just accept it.

Hey for the first time I think the club are starting to push it. We have been shit to watch this season and as a gesture they should make it 20 quid and say sorry we have been a bit shit - here's a treat. But I just don't see 40000 walking out in the 60th minute. Liverpool was in the 77th - bit of a difference. We have normally gone by then anyway.

It won't happen mate. Not everyone is as passionate about it as you. 95 percent of city fans will have no idea it is planned.

I think you're underestimating the power of social media here. Not only that, the 1894 Group statement is now out there and the media will pick up on it giving it even more publicity. I'd happily walk out on 60 minutes against WBA regardless of the fact that I'd already shelled out for my ticket because the larger picture is worth more than missing 30 minutes of football.

The club statement smacks of people who have loads of money and don't think £60 is a lot? It's the principle as much as the cost but people earning huge wages who run the club don't see the financial impact it has on working class people?

If I remember a game they were winning and then conceded, don't know if it was linked, but a better idea would be not to take seats for the first 10 minutes. Walking out after 60 is too much and many wouldn't be prepared to do it.

It's not just that. I can afford 60 or 85 or whatever it is in my seat quid I just don't want to spend that on top of parking and a pint. 100 pound plus on a Tuesday night when it's on TV, the traffic is shit and I can have a glass of wine watching it at home. They don't exactly make it a difficult choice. It is the kids and young adults who are earning buttons they should be targeting.

Great statement but we need some sort of practical action, even if that's singing "60 quid - you're having a laugh" or "You can stick your £60 up your arse" for a few minutes during the West Brom game. The Dortmund tennis balls one would be brilliant as the match kicked off but of course throwing things onto the pitch is a criminal offence in this country so probably not a good idea.
