City V PSG ticket Prices: 1894 Group statement in full

Great statement but we need some sort of practical action, even if that's singing "60 quid - you're having a laugh" or "You can stick your £60 up your arse" for a few minutes during the West Brom game. The Dortmund tennis balls one would be brilliant as the match kicked off but of course throwing things onto the pitch is a criminal offence in this country so probably not a good idea.
Charlton fans threw inflatable beachballs onto the pitch the other week (as a protest at their owners) and they weren't all arrested en masse; so maybe that could work. The Dortmund one was used because there's some sort of saying in Germany regarding tennis balls.

Personally I quite like the idea of either not coming into our seats until say ten minutes in, or the walkout. Doesn't have to be really early and could be accompanied with unfurling of banners.

I like the idea of staying out for 10 minutes at the start as you can try to persuade others not to do it as well. Plus we can all go in singing "You can stick your ticket prices up your arse".

I'm sure Dortmund were the umpteenth set of fans to use Tennis balls in protest. I could be wrong but I think that one originated in Basel. Sevilla used them to protest about the inequality in la liga with regards to favourable treatment to the big two.

Sorry to go slightly off topic, but it's sort of relative as if tennis balls are used in any protest then the likelihood is that anyone watching anywhere in europe are likely to immediately recognise it as a form of protest, which is what we're looking for.

It won't work because people don't want to miss 30 minutes of a game. A few might leave but most won't. Every single person turning their backs would have just a dramatic effect and in fact would get more publicity.

I doubt people would be gutted missing 30 mins of football against West Brom especially with the way we've been playing

Difficult one for people, I don't really want to miss 30 ,mins of match whoever it is.
But would like to do something to make my feelings known.
How about a boycott of all the facilities, food and drink, inside and outside the ground.
If the Summerbee bar was deserted for Stoke and WBA it might make them think.

Like an idea like this, I travel from barnsley to watch city for every game so missing 30 minutes is quite substantial when I'm paying £20 on travel and spending hours to get there and back

I would do the tennis balls would disrupt the game and tv timings that will piss off the sponsors and schedulers

Honestly, with 2 weeks to organise something, I think we need a poll.

Options such as:
Walk out on minute x
Stay out until minute x
Throw balls
Chant x
Banner
Do nothing

Do what Bayern did at the Emirates and have some banners place out in the South Stand and other areas of the ground. Send a true message to the powers that be.
