I'm actually glad Yaya isn't playing tomorrow by the looks of it :)
Seems to make more sense starting Navas with a view to bringing on Sterling around the hour mark. Sterling looked nowhere near ready when he came on against the bar codes. Navas is super fit and is probably one of small number of our players who can play 3 games a week on an on-going basis.
Vincent Kompany, David Silva and Fernandinho all took part in open training on Monday ahead of the Real Madrid Champions League semi-final first leg, but there was no sign of Yaya Toure at CFA.
Manuel Pellegrini's men went through their paces on a chilly morning in Manchester ahead of Tuesday's night's last four game at the Etihad Stadium.
Fernandinho and Vincent Kompany were rested for the 4-0 win over Stoke, but should come back into contention, while fans will be pleased that David Silva - who went straight down the tunnel after coming off against the Potters - was with the squad for final preparations.
This would also be my team. I reckon Pellers will go with Silva instead of Sterling though. You tactical approach is also spot on :-)
Injury news in 10 mins or soWas Clichy back in training? Don't want Kolarov anywhere near the team against Real.
Aguero in net?.....Kinky!With Yaya being out, the team and subs pretty much pick themselves now.
