Finally got round to watching (I'm six eps in series one).
Definitely has that 'Feel good British TV movie with an eye on the US market.
Reminds me of those British Christmas movies over the past few years with a dash of Bridegt Jones/Paddington.
Fair few stereotypes and how fucking lush (and unreal) does Richmond look?
It's no 30 Rock but it's a really lovely show with some wonderful moments.

Not sure if any of you watch Ted Lasso, but Pep had a cameo in the penultimate episode and it was so weird to see!
Great exposure for City all over the world.
We are mentioned all the way through the series. Rags not so much. Being the best team for more than a decade results in promotion of the brand shocker!
Well it’s pretty funny in Chelsea’s case.Going by the general approval of the show in a forum of miserable gits I must be one of the most miserable.
I watched a few episodes and it seemed like the core of the series revolved around the usual tired tropes of Americans not understanding football and that somehow being hilarious..

I’ve found that series 3 is geared around having one “viral” clip per episode for social media. So the City episode is obviously the Pep clip.
Seems to have lost its focus a little in my opinion.
