A lot of frustration on the blue moan today
Has to be even more in the locker room
I was thinking the 4-0 in Spain would get this group to come together, but it didn't work out that way.
The pre match thread had posters commenting on how well Soton have been playing and they were right. They played very well as a unit and kept their shape throughout. Once again, aside from one gifted goal,we played well enough to win. But that ain't good enough. We will find out who has the guts on this team one way or another, and I hope soon. I can handle a loss but not lack of effort... It's time to play like a team.

We didn't lose.

The point is that individual mistakes are as certain as death and taxes, and the key is to mitigate against the danger of self-inflicted disaster happening by not taking needless risks in stupid areas. We are playing a system that is the polar opposite of that

Individual mistakes like those should be a rarity from players of the quality Bravo and Stones. The players need to be intelligent about risk taking and the system may need tweaking but far to early to be thinking of radical change.

The players are quite capable of letting any manager down playing any system: they have proved that too many times. Pep has to get into their heads or get rid of them.

other than arsenal all those teams haven't been great this year. the league is competitive and no one is winning every game.
What I see is Spurs and Liverpool being totally dominant in their games. Chelsea are on a roll and Arsenal apply pressure in every game. Thankfully, Spurs are struggling to score, Liverpool look vulnerable when they run out of gas, Chelsea are playing for the manager and Arsenal look scarily good at times but don't always get the result. These teams are playing pretty well. Good for the Prem (and us) that these teams aren't steamrolling everyone results wise.
