City V Sheff Wed (LC) Post match Thread

Dross first half.
Great second half.
Let's move on but learn that we have to be at the races for the 90 mins , otherwise we risk a Wigan ( or a nearly Watford) result.

What was that massive thing that came on for Sheff Wed? The most ungainly footballer I have ever seen.

had he won a competition?
That is exactly what I said in the ground. No way was he a footballer. Cross between Giant Haystacks and a basketball player.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game, so nice to feel relaxed with a comfortable win and a few comedy moments. Felt bit sorry for Wednesday, good pace in the first half, great support, and a shame they lost a player.

Good performance tonight, especially second half, obviously.

We did well first half, but weren't clinical enough in front of goal and, to their credit, Wednesday defended well.

However, once we'd made the breakthrough, it was plain sailing and there were some cracking goals, especially Jesús' and Edin's header. It was great to see another Academy product given his chance and to his credit, Pozo did his prospects no harm. He took his goal well and contributed very well.

Overall, a pleasing night's work and I'm looking forward to seeing Newcastle in the next round.

Well only managed to catch the second half as I was in the que at the box office for an hour and 20 which was fun. On the other hand took my son to his first city game ever aged 5 and he predicted 7-0 shame I didn't back it like :/. We both went home very happy hopefully another trip to wembley this season. Fair play to Sheffield fans they were good from wat I heard.
