Where at any point have I mentioned their fans....

You haven't, but you've had a go at City fans for being arrogant and hypocritical when most of the responses are about how cockish their fans are.

I must be missing something then. I thought they stopped booing when they realised he was actually injured. I really don't see the problem. It did look suspect until it turned out he had actually hurt himself. It would have been the same if it was the other way around. It was a close game, we were miles off the pace, but we got the 3 points.
It happened quite near me and even I thought Sergio was just milking it at first. I said "get up lad there's a game to play here" next thing the stretcher is on. A number of their fans clapped him off. Of course there's always a number of cunts too, there are in our fanbase!

-- Sun Aug 19, 2012 8:18 pm --

sorry folks but to me our weak lin at the back is Lescott
The only weakness we have at the back is in the cover dept. Joleon is not a weak link, not at all. What about all of Vincent's diving in, again? Running out and stupidly diving in only to miss the ball by miles leaving Joleon with two men on his own in the box - result Souths first goal. Is Vincent a weak link too?

Exactly!

Im glad Dzeko scored because if not i would have exploded on here, he was fucking mince otherwise...

Completely agree, he was shocking beyond belief.

As long as he keeps scoring and we keep winning, he's doing his job.

He was today. One of his worst games for us. The whole defence were a shambles bar clichy.

Today really showed why we need more players in our squad. Mancini has every right to absolutely fucking fuming with Marwood or whoever is in charge of Transfers. We need a CB and a winger definitely or we wont win the league. Savic is wank and will cost us points. Get it done city.

Fucking Marwood only thinks about himself and how much he can impress the owners on the corporate bullshit and hang the football side of it. He is why we didn't get Hazard. If RVP proves to be a hit at the Swamp, I will be fucking very, very cross. He is a fucking Gooner and I want him sacked.

"Savic is wank" - was he playing today? With "fans" like you it is unlikely that players who have had difficult starts will ever make it, fucking hell

Have to say if this is how we are going to be after a win I ain't coming on here if we lose. OK we played badly some players weren't as good as they should have been. First game of season out of the way, a week to recover and plan for the away trip to the dippers.

great game in that we won. enjoyed the excitement but too close for comfort

not very impressed with rodwell at all. barry, dejong, milner much better any day.

imo lescott is a liability still despite last year's heroics. he makes me nervous every time he touches the ball. maybe a back three of vinny, zaba and clichy/richards. Then can use milner and kolarov on the wings in a 352. sell lescott please and use the money on other signings.

hope sergio is ok. tevez and nasri looked great. dzeko fumbled but got it when it counted. think kolarov can be a real impact this year based on the preseason but only had a minor role today. Balotelli looked good as well in his cameo

-- Sun Aug 19, 2012 9:44 pm --

have only been a city fan since mancini came over since I have followed him in his career. love the blues now but have to agree with you that the old guard or those accostomed to years of losing will never get it out of there system. can't teach old dogs new tricks.

i try to ignore those comments because often filled with self loathing of the team or internal self doubt. will take years for the blues to clean themselves of that but will eventually happen

Normally i would agree Pam but apart from two opportunities - the header wide and the knee(?) over the bar his effort was awful!

Personally I think if Dzeko gets a run of games he would be our top scorer he constantly finds himself in the right places and with a bit of confidence and a run of games I think he will find his form and become more clinical.
