I am really shocked at some of the arrogant/hypocritical posts in this thread. They played well, end of....

Wow, is that a stab at City fans when their fans were being utter cunts? Get to fuck...

Re: Congratulations Southampton

The hard core of their fans have got used to winning (back to back titles). It seems to have given them a nasty bully mentality. Hope they get a dose of humility over the coming months in the PL, bring them back down to Earth. And it's a reminder to us of what we wouldn't ever want to become.

As for the Southampton team. Though they played well, but their goal had a charmed life today. If we had gone 2 ahead then the cushion would have calmed the game down and we would have put them to the sword comfortably. It should have ended more like 5-2.

Re: Congratulations Southampton

"first game in PL for 7 years and hundreds of empty seats, shit fans"

There's a reason for that. £51 for a bloody away ticket. There's your reason! Anyway, thought City deserved it. I havn't got any respect for the so called Saints fans who booed Aguero, it's disgusting and uncalled for. Hope you lot win the league again as I cant stand that whining tosser Ferguson!

Re: Congratulations Southampton

Hope they go back to an established premier league team like they were 10 years ago. Fair play to their fans, it's not took them long to be preferred than portsmouth fans, but cheering Aguero's injury let them down so they can fuck off.

so sorry to rock the boat folks - but I would never, ever have Lescott in any team I selected. The look of "please don't pass it to me" from him and when he does get the ball it appears to be a molten ball which he cannot wait to get rid of.

Lallana is a good player, surprised the vultures haven't taken him yet like they did Bale, Walcott, and Oxlade-Chamberlain. England call-up before end of the season wouldn't surprise me.

Good job you don't select the team then.

Also worth noting there were hardly any no-shows this season compared to Swansea this time last year where thousands were apparently still on holiday. Not many empties today, maybe the new ticket exchange is working.
