Hello All,

I am a Spurs fan, and before you kick me out just know that I come in peace. I am from the Spurs supporters site http://www.tottenhamhotspurs.tv. I am here because I have some questions to ask of the City fans leading up to the huge match this weekend. At TH.TV we always like to hear the views of the opposing fans leading up to the match. If you could, please answer the following questions as honestly as possible. As a disclaimer, there is no malice in these questions and they are being asked for the sole purpose of garnering an honest response.

This is a top notch forum you all have here and I really appreciate you letting me come by and post these questions. Really looking forward to the match this week, should be one for the ages. Thanks again, and may the best team win!

Finally, feel free to check out http://www.tottenhamhotpurs.tv to get an idea of what Spurs fans are thinking leading up to the match. Additionally, if you have any questions that you would like answered by Spurs fans feel free to post them here. Again, thank you for being so welcoming, and good luck this week.

This is it lads, the defining moment of the season.
If worst comes to worst, God knows I wouldn't say no to the Europa.

We're more then capable. Me for one.. thought 4th was gone when Carew scored.
We showed Character and we deservedly won.

Let's batter these! CTID.

I'd prefer it if you took your own advice.

A big yes! He's a classy guy who has turned us into a team, rather than a collection of expensive individuals. We no longer look like concedeing every time the opposition comes into our half. The attacking side could be improved, but we are hampered by being a bit limited in the centre of the pitch.

Vincent Kompany, he played in midfield often last season, and defence sometimes, but now he's established himself as a central defender, he's been one of the best in the league, not the anyone in the meeja has picked up on it. Future City captain.

Same as vs Villa, possibly with Barry in for Vieira, depending on fitness levels of them both.

Probably controversial, but the money. Without the Abu Dhabi takeover we'd probably be in the championship by now and would never be able to challenge the usual top 4 like we are now.

Weakness - a lack of patience

I think i missed these comments, Mancini is correct though, when he says anyone who us unhappy can leave. We are fortunate enoguh to be in the position hwere no player is irreplacable.

Lennon, Bridge is unfit but we have no real alternatives, that's where you'd get the most joy.

BigDub said:

Onuoha, proper City fan, good defender, clever gu yand down to Earth. Desperately want him to establish himself in the squad long term and be here all through our success.

BigDub said:

As a manager, gets the best out of his players, tough to ask much more.

BigDub said:

We've lacked continuity, Hughes bought in Toure and Lescott and they never really hit it off as a parternship, both have looked much more solid when paired with Kompany, plus with Mancini's organisation our defence has tightened up imeasurably since Christmas.

If the Premier League sanctioned it, i couldn''t care less what other people think.

Couldn't care less what other fans think. At least we're not currupt like many Italian clubs and don't rely off government bail outs like Real Madrid.

What is your prediction for the game?
1-0, Adebayor is a goal machine, he'll want to score desperately vs you and he has a big match temperament. It'll be nervy though.

Then we'll probably get beaten by West Ham.

I have had a vision. Spurs get 70% of possession, have 15 shots on goal against our 3, hit the post twice and miss a penalty. We score in the 92nd minute to win 1-0 with Marten Fulup our Man of the Match. You read it here first.

Questions:

Is Roberto Mancini the right manager to take Manchester City forward? He's done a great job and as long as he's our manager, he'll have my full support.

Who would you identify as City’s most improved player this season? Tough question because improved implies he was with us last year... I'd say Bellamy. I think most City fans would say that his contribution this year was immense and he's exceeded expectations.

What do you think will be the lineup for City for the match? You can read the rest of this thread for that

What would you identify as City’s greatest strength as a club? The club’s greatest weakness? Strength - Loyalty and humour of fans. Weakness - The underdog mentality over the past 30 years.

How do you feel about Carlos Tevez's remarks about leaving the club if there is no CL for Man City? Media putting foreign words into his mouth.

Which Spurs player do you consider to be the biggest threat? Defoe

Who is your favorite City player? Who is your favorite Spurs player? I love everyone who pulls on the shirt. I wish Stevie Ireland would get back to full strength. I have something of a soft spot for Kompany, De Jong and Adam Johnson gets the ball. I hate all the gits in a Spurs shirt - I have ever since 1981.

What do you think of Harry Redknapp as a manger? Clever, manipulative, crooked.

Some would say that, despite the money spent, City’s central defenders have been a bit of a disappointment. What is your opinion of this? Nope - I think you've seen the City defense gel into something very solid, despite terrible injuries.

What are your thoughts over the emergency goalkeeper loan saga? As much as I'd have liked Hart to come home, I think the FA played that right. We should have been allowed to get someone else, but not a starting player.

Many fans remark that City’s spending habits represent everything that is wrong with football today. How do you feel about such a statement? I feel that everyone wanted City to remain the little poor step-child of football and were quite happy when we had to sell every player desired by a richer club. I resent the implication that only teams that had success since 1976 have the "right" to spend stupid money on players. City have a history of success, but in this era it takes significant investment. That's the system. You can complain about the system, but to pick City out for having more money is petty.

What is your prediction for the game? I don't see our goalie keeping a clean slate. I think Spurs will play very very conservatively and hope to hit us on the counter - but at home, with our offence clicking, our defence more solide, and the addition of Adam Johnson, we'll slot at least 2 past you . I'm hoping for 2-1 to us.
