Ye lets play a RB or our best Midfielder at CB whilst Stones (if signed) doesn't get used. We're playing Sunderland at home its hardly Barcelona at the Nou Camp. Stones has had a good pre season he'll slot in straight away.

With Everton. He hasn't kicked a ball for us but you would play him.

I would be inclined to throw Stones in at the deep end. Bye the way I think Kolorov had one of his better games yesterday. Not suggesting that he should
be a regular CD just that he appeared better than he finished the season as left full.

His entire game is based around Peps requirements. He would be the only member of the squad in defence who grasps his way of playing and be in the correct position whether he has trained or not
We all know he is being brought in just simply due to his potential and fact he suits peps style, that accounts for more than a donkey left back in kolarov being played out of position there, 2 days notice or not
Ill also make the point he has more minutes than our entire squad in this pre season,
He just played in a side that kept a clean sheet at Old Trafford

How on earth people are putting tosin in their teams is beyond me

He is so raw and nervous its mad, but has a strong future I hope with a loan spell somewhere, as I like the kids drive and will to improve

If Stones hasn't signed and if Otamendi is injured then I'd go with:

Zab
Denayer
Mangala
Clichy
Fernandino
Delph
Silva
Sterling
Nolito
Kun

I'd much rather give Denayer, a natural CB, a run out and see what he's got than play someone out of position. Plus he's played at the Euro's so a lack of experience is hardly an issue.

I wouldn't start Stones on Sunday unless he started training tomorrow or Wednesday which seems very unlikely. The CBs I would play (in order of preference):

Sagna
Mangala
Denayer
Clichy
Fernandinho (Only this low down because I'd rather he was at CM)
Adarabioyo
Kolarov
Fernando (Love him but he's not a CB)

Awful team but that's what I'm guessing. Hopefully Otamendi is fit.

I fear for us early on this season. If we manage to pick up wins during the teething period we should have a great season but we do need to do something in the transfer market to improve our 1st XI. Buying young talent is great but we can't take our eyes off the ball in the present.
