tin hat for this but pep has done it before and he won the champions league with Yaya at the back so surely he could do a better job than Kolashite until Stones comes in which hopefully will be soon

Hart

Zaba
Yaya
Otamendi (or Fernandinho if not fit)
Clichy

Fernandinho (Or Fernando if not fit)
Delph

Silva

Sterling
Kun
Nolito

It could work, but I simply cannot see Toure sprinting deep into the corners to make space for the goalkeeper when in possession; he just doesn't have the legs to do that now. Probably be used from the bench to tie possesion up later.

Gen question for eveyone. Would you prefer we reverted to our old style and get the three points or perhaps lose/draw but making headway in doing it peps way?

The latter for me, no brainer but curious if anyone thinks differently

The non-involvement of both Mangala and Denayer at the weekend was odd given our defensive injuries. Even if neither feature in Guardiola's long-term plans, surely both would be far better options at present than either Fernando or Kolarov.

Losing to sunderland with our squad can in no way be considered making headway.

It is strange that when you think Sagna & KDB who both had more involvement at the Euros than Mangala & Denayer travelled and have had game time. It certainly looks as though Pep doesn't fancy either of them and is willing to sacrifice they're natural CB instincts for (potential) ball players. In the case of Deayer I find it even stranger as he can play RB as well and Pep likes flexabilty in his players

Anyone know the injury situation with otamendi? With 2 games in 4 days I can see him mixing the 2 teams

Sunderland

Hart

Zaba
Denyer
Fernando
Kolarov

Navas
Yaya
Diniho
Silva
Sterling

Aguero

Bucharest

Hart

Sagna
Otamendi
Stones (I expect him to sign before then)
Clichy

Yaya
Delph
Kdb

Navas
Nolito
Aguero

I'd personally go with:

Hart
Zabaleta - Sagna - Otamendi - Clichy
Fernandinho - Delph
Navas - Silva - Nolito
Aguero

Caballero, Kolarov, Sterling, Fernando, Yaya, De Bruyne, Kelechi.

Zaba right back Sagna CH is a great shout
