Got a lot of respect for the Mackems, but I just want us to play the way we know we can.

No typical City, no giving me a twitchy arsehole, just come out and do our thing and get a grip of the game early.

It's tempting to rush Aguero back with Negredo and Dzeko's recent form but we have to remember there is still a lot of season to play, including two very strong shouts for the other two domestic honours. Would be infuriating to rush him back, get injured, maybe still not even win the cup anyway and be fucked for all the other games!

I don't think he will be at risk of aggravating the injury. They wouldn't allow him to restart full training if that was a worry

However he wont be at his sharpest, and if he's tired, he might pick up another injury.

I think he's due to start full training tomorrow. I'm sure there'll be news on this tomorrow.

The Wigan FA Cup Q/F and Barca away are huge games too.

Follow-up for the Yanks and ex-pats -- BEIN Sports told me via Facebook that the final WILL be on live -- pre game beginning at 8:30 am Eastern time (5:30 am for me).

Figured as much, just nice to have it confirmed since the schedule still doesn't show it.

We've got Fox Sports, ESPN, NBC sports, and other stuff, but what please is BEIN Sports? Someone explain, please. Ta.

Negredo is simply not 100% fit. Pellegrini simply can't risk playing a passenger for 90 mins.
Deko and YaYa for me wth Garcia as DM - maybe with Aguero as a supersub.

To Start:
--------------- Hart
Zab Kompany Lescot Cliche
---- Garcia Fernandinho
Silva ------------------------ Nasri
-------------- YaYa
--------------Dzeko

Milner and Navas to stretch in second half

-- Tue Feb 25, 2014 12:01 am --

The playing area of all Premier League and Wembley pitches is now the same size 105m x 68m to meet Premier League and UEFA rules.

Here is the best article on the subject:

very doubtful aguero will start , but he will be on the bench and ready for the last 30 minutes if needed , i would start with negredo up front in a 4-5-1 , HART - ZABS , KOMPS , LESCOTT , CLICHY - NAVAS , YAYA , DINHO , NASRI , SILVA - NEGREDO , we have the option of bringing on garcia so we can push yaya up front , plenty other options with milner, kolarov, dzeko etc . Looking forward to the game , sunderland will make it a great atmosphere , their fans will be out for a great day trip , although i obviously want us to win , i wouldnt like to give them a drubbing , their suppporters deserve better , (respect them for taking the piss doing the bosman at the SOL when yoooonited lost the league) , hopefully a close game on the cards 2-1, 3-1 would be nice , and they will qualify for europa league.

Should be available with many if not most expanded cable packages (which is what I have) and I'm assuming most satellite packages. And any US footy pub will have it as well, as well as most general sports-oriented pubs.

With Jovetic out again, Aguero only just returning again, Dzekos lack of form again and Negredos lack of form (slight injury?) I'd play one striker with one of the 3 of Silva, Nasri or Navas playing the 'Aguero role', of which I think Nasri is the most suited to:

____________Pantilimon
Zabaleta_Kompany_Lescott_Kolarov

________Yaya___Fernandinho
Navas_______________________Silva
______________Nasri
_________Negredo/Dzeko (whoever's most match fit)

Bench:
Hart,
Demichelis, Clichy,
Garcia, Milner,
Aguero, Negredo/Dzeko
