Strongest team possible for me;

-------------------------------PANTILIMON-------------------------------

ZABALETA-----KOMPANY---------DEMICHELLIS-----KOLAROV

NASRI----------YAYA TOURE-----FERNANDINHO----------SILVA

------------------------AGUERO-------NEGREDO------------------------

Key talking points -

Demichellis. Personally I hope Nastasic is fit to play. In the event that he isn't ready then I think Pellegrini will stick with MDM over Lescott. Both have their weaknesses.

Kolarov. Some people on here are still of the opinion that he is poor and that Clichy is world class. That's incredible to me. Kolarov has been one of the best left backs in England this season whilst Clichy has fallen in to the French stereotype of surrendering on a regular basis.

Aguero. The thought of playing a final with the Dzeko - Negredo partnership will haunt me until the day of the match. I don't care of he is only 80% fit. He HAS to play Kun. He returned to training last week so I think he will be ready.

Nasri and Silva have both been immense this season. It's a tough one for Navas and Milner who have both done well this season, I think their diversity will see them both featuring as important substitutions.

Kompany, Zabaleta and Yaya need to turn up for us to be comfortable.

Pantilimon has kept goal in both domestic cups so him starting is a given for me. He has gotten us to the final with a load of clean sheets and the defence usually looks very comfortable with him in goal. This is no sympathy vote, on his current cup form he should start.
The only weakness in the team is the front two without Aguero in the team. All the strikers play well with Aguero, but not great without him.

But Aguero has been out for quite a while. In previous games we eased him back gently. I think we will do the same again

My solution to the problem would be Negredo up top with a 5 man midfield including Navas who links well with Negredo.

I think we will be ver difficult to beat at Wembley. We were awful against Wigan but even then it took a sending off and a last minute goal to do it

I hope if Aguero isn't ready, that is what we do. We have finished a few matches with Silva, Nasri, Navas behind Negredo and it always looks dangerous with the link up play.

+1

This will be a tough game (all finals are!).

This is a 50/50 game, we could win it or lose it just as easily.

We can only have players 100% fit and ready to play (losing Jovetic to injury yet again does not help us one bit), considering Aguero might not be 100% either, this just leaves us with the misfiring Dzeko and an off the boil Negredo as our forwards for the game.

This game will be won if we dominate midfield and have at least one of our midfielders supporting our static/immobile forwards, another game for Yaya to score in a big game for us perhaps or will it be Nasri this time?

Last season's FA Cup final against Wigan proves we can't have players playing unless they are truly 100% fit and ready (if my memory is correct, Aguero was also just coming from back injury and played in the final and the end result showed in the game, I thought he, like a lot of our players on that day played well within himself).

I still think we will win, but it won't be easy and they will probably score, so 2-1 to City for me.

If Augero is 90 percent I'd still play him.this game will be no walk over its full of ex rags who will suddenly become super human they will park the bus and play of scraps set pieces.if he isn't ready itd be nasri silva yaya fernandinho Milner negredo

Pants
Zaba, komps, Mdm, kolorov
Garcia, ferni
Nasri, yaya, merlin
Aguero (beast if serg not fully fit)

Got to play pants in goal but stick joe in for the fa cup if we get there. That seems fair.
Garcia looking good now and would free yaya up.
Playing Dzeko on this form would be suicide
Only worry is Johnson v kolorov so maybe clichy in?
Negredo just doesn't play well with edin. Too similar and edin seems to take up all negredo's space/runs. He's a different player when with serg
Mdm just ahead of lescott. I actually think Mdm suits our passing game very well, even tho he has a mistake in him most games!!!!

Someone said they are our bogey team at home? Well we are at home, all be it our second one.

This will have City's name on it, I believe.

Lets hope we don't see one of Dzeko's off days at Wembley.
No more of this please Edin.

According to Daniel Taylor, Pellegrini said he needs a scan. Maybe just a cramp or a tight hamstring, but that's just speculation
