Think the team need to be more motivated for this one, don't know what it was yesterday with Dzeko, he just didn't seem to be usual self. I mean if he missed any other time he would just get on with it until he had another chance.. Lets hope we don't see this happening at Wembley..Bit of an off day for him yesterday, he got a bit shirty with the guy presenting him Player of the month I thought...

I can't understand how some people keep using last season as a yardstick for ANY game this season.
We have a new manager/style and four ( if you include Jovetic) new additions to the squad/team.

I just can't understand why the team can't get it together for such a big occasion. We have all sen the lack lustre performances that have cost us points against less competent opposition.
We really must be firing as we were for this game, or we will get caught out.

There was a sour feeling all day last May. There was rumours everywhere that Mancini had already been sacked and from kick off I had the feeling it wasn't going to be our day.

Other than Bayern and Barca, we've controlled most games this season and we've only been punished by individual mistakes and not finishing chances. We will go into this final very optimistic and we should respect Sunderland but there will be questions asked if we loose.

Not gonna predict a score, but as long as we control possession and finish of chances, the cup is ours, praying Aguero is fit.

Presumably games like next week are where we see the benefits of increasingly having contracts tied to win/trophy bonuses. The pleasure of wearing the jersey and playing at Wembley should be enough, but the extra incentive shouldn't hurt.

I do not get the inference here of players not trying - we have not been fluent in every game, yesterday being a prime example, but we have worked VERY FUCKING hard to be where we are this season, all season
