City v Swans post match thread

better to be lucky winners than unlucky losers

we allowed swansea's ki to dominate the midfield, what a pass for their goal by the way.

credit to yaya for not giving up, could be a crucial 3pts who knows

but play like that against the gooners next week and it will end in tears for sure

That was very similar to the Liverpool performance, luckily Swansea did are lacking confidence at the moment and didn't take advantage. We are playing so frustratingly at the moment, how often yesterday did we get the ball out to the wings and instead of trying to take on the full backs, stopped and played it backwards. Our build up play is too slow, and we seem to have lost the art of defending. Managala is playing so poorly at the moment you have to wonder why Denayer was allowed out on loan.

Yep, still top of the league.

Well done gaffer and we'll done the players.

Happy days.

Swansea played very well. Defended superbly and looked really motivated to get a result

We were very poor. But we played a hard game in midweek, and when the manager takes Silva off after 65 minutes and puts De Bruyne on the bench with our injury problems then its very very clear that he thinks City are very tired.

He gambled yesterday on giving key players a rest and getting 3 points. Paid off. I am glad now he did it, but it was very risky.

Top of the league. Topped the CL group. League Cup semi-finalists. Get the injured players back, and we go again from a fantastic position. I know its tenuous because the performances are really bad, but we know we have a great squad and its just injuries holding us back.

No, you're missing the point spectacularly like everyone else who's gone down that route tonight.
We wasn't very good today, we haven't been great bar the second half midweek for a good month. We've managed to get results which is the main thing but to gloss over it with posts like yours are a waste of time.
Discuss the game if you want but fuck off with the 'people aren't happy unless they're moaning' shite.

Agree this is the only forum where you aren't allowed an opinion and if you question the team selection or tactics you are pro Mancini. Absolutely ridiculous. What we are seeing at the moment isn't good enough. We could easily have lost yesterday but for Joe hart and the issue is team selection and tactics.

Delph. It's funny how he's suddenly become so important...

Rather sums up the state of things if people are relying on him.

I didn't put Delph in the same list as Aguero and Kompany for a reason.

He is a valuable member of the squad though and him being fit enables us to rotate the knackered Fernandinho and Toure.
