Found pout a few minutes ago that the ref is Martin Atkinson so I am not expecting us to get a positive result against the rags with him as the ref.

I don't accept this premise. They have more pace of course with Rashford but he is nowhere near as prolific as Big Nose.
They will be less dangerous at crosses and set pieces and way less likely to score a speculative strike out of the blue which
is a hallmark of his. He is a player for the big occasion. Rashford goal last year was the direct result of shite defending not great play. Do the basics right and he will find it hard to score. Add to this the fact that they will have less firepower to bring off the bench with Zlat missing. I for one am glad he is out but would like to wish all the best during the recovery process. He may be a git but I don't like to see any player suffer serious injury.

I hope he's screaming in pain !!

I see Sergio has some special one-off boots for the derby. Why am I thinking subterfuge and a scheming plot worthy of Scooby doo?...

I've been quite disappointed in Fernandinho since he came back from suspension, thought he was pretty poor again in the semi final. I also feel the praise of Navas has been a bit over the top, any problems are usually down that side with attackers getting in behind him. I'd personally prefer to put Fernandinho at right back for this game, have one pivot in Yaya and Sterling has to start imo.

I dont think Fernandhino plays that well alongside Yaya these days. He was magnificent early in the season as the single pivot. But when he plays in the same midfield as Yaya he doesn't seem to have a clearly defined role.

Just got sent this..... City fans, you live locally so no need to enquire! Loool :-)

We'll have plenty of Asian, American, South American, European and indigenous support in the home stands with Selfie Sticks and Ipads. Although our plastication isn't yet complete were well underway. Its a natural consequence of our growing global appeal. You don't have to like it as we move away from our pie chips and peas, gritty northern background culture but like it or not we are becoming a much more multicultural hotch potch of support mixed in with our longevity of local Manchester supporters (40+ years me). Some would say its a bad thing and it dilutes the hardcore support others its a natural consequence of global multiculturism and immigration and a club desire for inclusivity across all boundaries.
We can still titter at such banality (im all for having a poke at that lot) but the inevitability that a large cross section of our support will not have English as a first language is already here.
As an aside I welcome it and blues are blues no matter what colour or origin but please leave the fuckin selfie sticks at home!
