Losing TWO English players is not a good thing. However, we need to figure out what their physical problems are first.
Personally, I have never been a big fan of Micah from a technical perspective, and the game is getting more and more technical at City, which is leaving him behind. Throw in his flopping every time he gets forward and the ball gets away from him, and he starts to look like an outstanding prospect that lost the plot.
Roswell? Seen a spark of his talent, but been too injured to really assess. I think he has a long term contract, so he may be secure for another season at least IF he can sort his fitness issues out. I would love to think he is another Stevie G from an injury perspective and his musculature will grow into his skeleton and help him settle down. However, it is hard to see him as anything other than a fill in for Yaya and Ferni at this point, and Garcia and Milner are clearly ahead of him at this point for either central midfield position. That said, he has TWO good feet if we can get (and keep) him fit, plus he has a good engine, which is what we need. I see him as a reasonable back up for Ferni, as he has the size and pace needed to assert himself.......or maybe I'm being a "glass half full" guy in the hope that he can come good, because I like the lad.
