City v West Brom post match thread

Anyone else worried about Sergio's body language today, looked frustrated today for most of the game, maybe it's because he was trying to get the goal his performance deserved. But then I noticed him as soon as the final whistle went he walked straight towards the tunnel, not even shaking the hand of the defender who was stood 2 yards away from him, didn't even clap the fans

We did everything required to win the game in a comfortable manner. Kept possesion well, kept the full backs busy, worked the goalkeeper plenty and some stand out performances from Bony, Silva, Aguero (even without his goal) and Zabaleta. Everyone else were decent without being exceptional.
Would have bitten your hand off for any kind of win today so made up with the result.

Pullis reckons the mistaken identity sending off shouldn't have been a sending off. What a knob.

Doubt we will ever have an easier game at this level and just what the doctor ordered. I know I was very grateful for an afternoon free from anxiety. Delighted for Wilf and disappointed that Sergio didn't bag one to ease some of his frustrations. Not much else to say to be honest.

I'm not worried -- he's pissed off and frustrated with not scoring, and today he hit the post, had some saved, a few blocked . . . can't blame him for asking himself "What do I need to do?!?"

Be more concerned when he scores and doesn't celebrate.

Surprised the bitter **** didn't have a heart attack with the fucking touchline histrionics . Those white trainers.....seriously WTF

I think there's a world of difference between saying 'I can't believe I've not scored, what do I need to do to beat this guy?' and 'I can't believe I keep missing every chance I get'

He's getting plenty of chances, and he's generally hitting the ball well. No cause for concern at all. He'll score soon enough!

His work rate today was amazing too, two or three times he won the ball back in midfield having lost it up front. Just superb. Only thing I'd say is that sometimes, he looks like he's trying to do everything himself. If we had 3 or 4 more players like that, we'd be laughing all the way to the title, sadly we don't.

I thought he had a great game today actually. 9/10.

There are a few numpties in the pre match thread who would do well to keep a low profile over the next few days, you know who you are

How come?

It was a routine comfortable win which was played against 10 men for 89 mins

Not entirely sure we learnt anything today but it's nice to get the 3 points thats the main thing
