Just in from the match.
Would have preferred it to have stayed 11 v 11 to assess any real improvement. However I thought we pressed reasonably well and the movement off the ball was ok. You can only play what's in front of you.
Nevertheless a much needed and valuable 3 points to end the week.

cant really assess this game as the sending off changed the whole complexion, good result though.

In what way? Didn't seem to make any difference to the way they were set up, always going to put all their players behind the ball, just one less.

Also, surprise surprise, only 4 pages filled today compared to umpteen after a defeat. Swear some people like us losing more than winning.

It's an affliction as common as the sniffles and a cold. They don't like losing more -- it's just an emotional hedge, a defense mechanism. If we lose, they "predicted" it and prepared themselves for disappointment. If we win, well, they're "glad to be wrong." Human beings are funny creatures.
