City v West Ham at Vue cinemas

Assume no mixing of households though? I was in the pub the other night and 4 lads walked in who clearly weren’t from the same house. Was just wondering if that’s just our pub being slack or widespread.

It is impossible to know if people are from the same household or not. There could easily be 4 people sharing a house as well as the less usual 70 people from a circus counting as the same household. The pub can't enforce anything.

Watched the match at the printworks yesterday. There was no more than 20 people watching it. Quite enjoyable under the present circumstances. Straight into Wetherspoons few pints and something to eat.

I was gonna go too, but unfortunately was indecisive, and left it a bit too late .... by the time i'd eventually made my mind up the game had started, and was already 20 minutes in ..... i wouldn't mind so much but i only live five minutes away from the fuckin' place!

i thought it was a terrific cinema deal though for only around a fiver.

Mind you lookin at the rain pissing down in Manchester as the match was ending i kinda 'justified' missing it to myself!

Mrsery has been miverin me to take her to the cinema now for the last 20 years.
She may finally have her wish granted as long as she’s on the ball this week with her chores.
Might even take her up the back row if she’s lucky!

LoL ....

So watching the game in the cinema doesn't really compare to 5k fans being allowed into the ground and the travel logistics that creates. Even if 60-70 people went to see it a the Printworks it would only be at about 20% capacity.

I took the £25 option this month as we are on 4 times with BT this month so just over 6 quid a game is ok

I did this for the Champions League/Europa League restart in August. Also bought a NOW TV 4K box to watch in UHD and then returned it to Amazon after the final for a full refund.

I watched the Sheffield United game at The Vue cinema in The Printworks today.
£5.99 admission price and I had a full row to myself. About 20 other Blues in the place. We all cheered when Walker scored.
Everybody observed social distancing and everybody wore masks. Would definitely do it again if they decide to show anymore City games.
The only negative was I got a parking ticket for parking on a single yellow line near Thompson Street Fire Station at 12.17. So I have paid £35 to MCC this afternoon.
I will probably take the tram into Victoria Station next game and walk 5 minutes to The Printworks.
