City Victory Parade - 2022/23

It wasn't just the fact they couldn't be bothered to tell anyone that attended on princess st George st that whilst it was whistling with rain that the buses weren't on there way it's a fucking disgrace, they even had a tannoy system there.

the crush danger at the end was real, people coming from the rear of where we were stood and the back of where we were stood and people were very very angry.

That mirrors our experience mate.

And we were two fully grown blokes. There was people with little kiddies etc near us who we needed to literally form a circle of protection around as the numbers and vibe was that worrying.

Just a total different atmosphere to other parades and celebrations I’ve been to.

Such a shame as an amazing season has definitely ended on a sour note for me.

The agenda has already started.
Taking snippets from a few mile long parade of certain parts where there wasn’t as many fans.
Fuck em!
I was there and know how packed Manchester was.
I’d say it looked our best turn out in modern times.
Manchester is Blue.
The future is Blue.
The rest of leagues mood is Blue : )
What agenda if there saying 200 thousand turned up ?

Took 2 nippers with us, had to get out of the impending scrum pretty sharpish. Not a cop in sight nothing relayed to the fans they couldn't give a fuck.

That was an absoulte shambles. I took my 10 year old down we queued for over an hour and half and rather than open the gates and do the security checks and let people in safely our fans went full scouse and just barged past any body in their way. How nobody got injured was a miracle. We left after 10 minutes as bellend after bellend forced their way past women and kids so they could get their social media shots. We got out and got a position on the parade route and after another hour word broke that the route had changed the barriers parted and chaos began. The police then forced the crowd back on horse back, this helped cause crushing and alot of very frightened kids and parents. We got 2 minutes of parade and i now have a little boy who should have had an afternoon of happy memories instead of tears and genuine fear. Manchester council have alot to answer for and so do some of our fans.
Mate I feel your pain. Took my 3 year old. Got to the gates at 3.30pm. They didn’t open till 6.45. Soaked, didn’t get in anyway as the crushing was dangerous. Got myself and nipper out of there. Went to find the bus on the route. More waiting till 8 still nothing. So abandoned ship. Spent hours in and around it and saw as much as united fans have this season! Fuck all.
