City Victory Parade - 2022/23

Unless you where there you don't know, something was very wrong at the junction with Princess St and George St, I managed to lift my lad onto a windows ledge out of the way, but there was a bottle neck at this junction with nowhere to go and one guy stopping people going down George St, there was a moment where there was a load of booing and people flooded onto the streets past the barriers, not long after the parade arrived and there was nowhere to go, GMP had to push the crowd back and for a moment I seriously wanted to get out of there as it looked like a crush starting, first time at any event I felt unsafe.
Sounds like a nightmare. Hopefully you are all well.

Not gonna lie standing in that pissing down rain for what felt like hours has left me a right grumpy bastard! Wish Id sat in a bar on the route instead of going to the stage. Rain wasnt stopping so why the fuck did they delay it so long.

Anyway who cares we won the treble
I presume it was the thunder and lighting that was the issue.

Probably not advisable to stand on open top buses waving big shiny cups around

Was having a good time until people rushed the barriers and my 3yo went in to panic mode. Had to throw pram over the barrier and climb over with him. Seemed pretty dangerous and he was quite shaken. We was at the end of princess st I think. Seems like we was there ages. Ended up coming back and missing it all

Do you want fucking oasis to get back together as the 2nd question to a manager who has delivered the treble and first champions league to us, even Pep looked like " what the fuck are you on about ".
That was baffling

Like when me and my mate met Mick Jagger and my mate got starstruck and first thing he said was "what was your first job Mick? Mine was as a gravedigger"
