We were at the top of King St, awesome atmosphere, buses slowed right down to turn the corner. Absolutely soaked through and trams back to Eccles a bit of a mare but amazing evening

And when you got back to Eccles were the streets still flooded? I saw photos of flooding not far from the centre of Eccles.

Got soaked, but loved it. I’ve never seen Manchester as busy. Got back to Heywood, not even rained and only down the road, think we had our bit of luck on Saturday, so I’ll take a bit of rain and the European Cup thanks.

Boy am I glad it rained! Ended up with one of those unforgettable moments having the bus come to a halt right in front of us, followed by an absolute thunderbastard of rain hammering down whilst singing Rodri's on fire and going completely crazy. Beautiful.
