City Victory Parade - 2022/23

I was in that area and yes agree - such a different atmosphere to other years. I didn't feel comfortable really. Lots of "new City" fans - not fans who go to games. A bit of everyone for themselves mentality
Two things (1) you know EVERY single City fan that goes to games? (2) if only people who go to the games were there, given people on holiday, at work, with a long way to travel etc then there’d have only been 35k allowed there? Embrace the fact that there’s a lot of people there who don’t normally go, better than them being rags, isn’t it?

think we've had that from them every year we've had a parade, and each time its actually been class.

Screenshotting photos or footage of a random manchester street to satisfy their agenda. Its fucking hurting them.
So predictable what they were going to do. Even had a laugh about with my son pointing to an empty street and knowing what would happen. Virgin divs.

Big let down the coverage of this event. I got up at 5:30am to watch it, my wife got up at 6:00am - wasn't too bad until the players arrived at the stage and then .................................................... picture of KDB and nothing else, just the PC's speakers buzzing waiting for someone to say something. Oh well, better this went wrong rather than Inter scoring and forcing us into extra time and (God help us) penalties.
I have managed to find a 6-minute video clip but hopefully in the days to come I'll find a more comprehensive video.
Tbf I think they were relying on the helicopter footage but it had to divert due to the weather. Guessing that had a knock on effect on the show.

Fans of the Red shites in complete denial about the turnout. I was there and it was immense. Blues every fucking where.
Sad fucking twats are broken. Up the mighty blues.

If adults are having arguments over how many turned up then they need to have a look at themselves. This is the sort of immature shite which youtubers push and the tripe Talkshite use as "content".

Sky seem to be giving a lot of airtime to these "fan" youtubers who just seem to have immature arguments based on no facts or rationale. Nobody asked for this, it isn't entertainment.

This is an iconic shot.

Their heads have completely gone, they have fuck all now except the pathetic need to see some foundation to the allegations of cheating (they invented)

I’ve not read any other posts as I’ve not had internet access in the crowds so sorry if what I’m about to say has been said by others.

Me and my mate were at the bottom of market st near boots / M&S.

I’ve had the fortune to be at a couple of City parades in recent years but today was the first time I’ve ever felt in danger. The early on fun vibe turned into something very nasty. People with kids being pushed aside by arrogant cunts, young children crying, way too many people in a confined space and not a single copper to be seen.

There were a lot of what I’d call not usual City fans. Random chav twats there to cause bother.

And the club chose to delay the parade by 45+ mins due to rain without any way of communicating it to fans.

Really nasty vibe. Such a shame given the achievement of the team on the pitch.

And I’m a grown arse 30-odd year old bloke.

Should we ever have another one, doubt I’ll go to another parade due to the disorganisation and infestation of pure scally cunts in our fanbase.
I was going to say the organisation of the whole thing was a shambles, but i think the thunderstorms unfortunately played a big part in it. However what i can't for the life of me understand is, why tell every fucker it's in St Peter Square and when you get there it's not? They closed down loads of throughways apparently because of the weather, seems like that was done pretty sharpish so sounds like bollocks to me. There were loads of fuckers there that were just there to be rowdy and get caned, i get it and i dont mind it at all, but when thats coupled with nobody including security and coppers, knowing wtf is going on, there's bound to be mayhem. We were near the art gallery and it was bedlam, people walking round aimlessly asking 'where's the stage? wheres the bus?'. Eventually people got so fucked off the barriers just went and people just started going in the streets and partying/walking around to get closer to the stage. Me and my 10yr old just about got to see the bus, but there were times it felt a bit too aggressive from some people.
