City Victory Parade - 2022/23

Got to Manchester for about 4.30, parked easily enough near Arena travelodge. Got to Deansgate for about 5.15 and ended up waiting there with my lad. Thankfully grabbed an umbrella on my way out so he managed to stay dry.

Until the heavens properly opened a few minutes after the coaches had passed. If they’d not had delayed it we would have missed the rain!…

Agree 100 per cent. I thought yesterday was the best parade and I have done them all since 1970. It was chaos and it was spontaneous and it was bloody fantastic. It was for the people of Manchester, especially the ones priced out of attending matches. It was not supposed to be like the Royal Wedding. I don't give a fuck about the youtubers. If you want a plastic TV extravaganza....go to Glastonbury.
