Yeah thought he might have gotten a run out in that if it had been 2-0 or better with 15 minutes to go but Fernando definitely the right call at the time.
I think he's most likely to be on the bench still, but its really interesting waiting for the starting 11 every game now, and then trying to work out where they will all play.

Makes the pick the team comp hell especially with all the attacking options.

Whoever does the graphic on the club twitter just seems to have gone "fuck that I'll just put them in a 4-2-3-1" :)

It's annoying that the journalists seemingly don't ask him about all the injuries.
They don't seem to ask many football related questions from what I've seen, do we still do anything with the Spanish Media? Might dig that out instead and get some updates on the footballing side of things.

Personally I'm glad we don't give it away every week any more, last season we started with a list of the sicknotes, and gave the opposition manager a head start. Though he's kind of said Silva and Gundogan won't start tomorrow, he hasn't completely ruled them out as MP would have done last year, not mentioning Delph And Fernando leaves their manager not having the first clue until the team sheets are handed in, and its one of the many positives from last season. The only one clearly ruled out (Aguero apart) was Kompany, and I'm glad we're not rushing him back.

MIght be risky playing Gundogan so soon after his first game after a long lay off. We need him for the season. I think we should be able to handle this game without him. Who to put there? Garcia or maybe Kolarov as Pep believes in him.

Well, it looks like there will be no Hart, Vinny, Yaya, Silva or Aguero for this match. That's the whole spine of the team once upon a time. Lets see how far we have progressed without them.

I'm all for confidence and always back city regardless but some of the comments on here are borderline arrogant I think, no easy games in the prem...

5-0 City for what its worth

It just goes to show how things have changed with our tactics when we are looking at Silva, Fernando, Delph and Gudongan all being out and we are still considering Kola or Garcia before Yaya.
