City Vs Arsenal post Game Discussion thread

Good performance against an Arsenal team who are far better than I thought.
Pab Zab was excellent, as was Vinny and Barry had a great game too.
Special thanks to the Blue who gave me his spare lighter in City Square when mine went tits up.

These journo's never ever cease to amaze

6/10 Komps,Zab, Barry etc

Thanks for posting. Very interesting and I totally agree with the comments made.

Roberto made comment that we lacked control when we were ahead in his post match Interview. Hopefully he will be seeking to rectify this as I really don't think we can win the league playing like this way.

Take the sense of drama and occasion out of the mix, and tactically, we were all over the place and wide open.

Against United in particular, I think we would have been seriously made to pay the price for our host of missed chances.

It was great to see the attitude and commitment on show, but play similar in the FA Cup, and I think United's forwards will have an extra man over at the far post.

Need to be extra ruthless against the so-called top sides.

Don't just sit there, write to their editor. I have done so, suggesting that their reporter may have been watching a different match. Maybe next time he will be more realistic with his ratings.

As the missed chances piled up at 0-0 and 1-0 I thought we'd be made to pay, but I thought our defence were on top against Arsenal. Walcott and Van Persie (offside goal part) were anonymous. It was Vermaelen that was the threat and that was from long range

We are cavalier going forward at times, but the price you pay for creating so many chances is an exposed back 4 it's worth taking if you score so many goals.

if we go into the Manchester Derby ahead of Utd then perhaps it would be sensible to adopt a safety first approach, but generally it makes sense for City to attack in numbers
